New Divers is a program that gives a well rounded introduction to the sport of diving. Divers are encouraged to come to 1-2 sessions per week. They are welcome to increase the sessions if they find that they are really enjoying their diving. There are no refunds for missed classes, however, divers are encouraged to do make up classes within the term. New Divers are able to progress into the Social, Junior Squad, Focus 1, and Focus 2 programs if they choose to.

Social Divers is a program aimed at divers who simply want to dive without having a burning drive to be elite. As with all programs, each diver is taught individually within the class, based on their skill level and goals. Divers are not required to compete although they are all welcome to compete if they choose to do so! Social Divers are encouraged to come to 1-2 sessions per week. They are welcome to increase the sessions if they choose to. There are no refunds for missed classes, however, divers are encouraged to do make up classes within the term.

Masters Divers focusses on divers 18 years and older and caters to beginners through to competitive divers. Each diver is taught individually within the class, based on their skill level and goals. Divers are not required to compete although they are all welcome to compete if they choose to do so! Masters Divers are encouraged to come to 1-2 sessions per week. Wednesday 7.30pm is dedicated to adults only. Further classes will be during normal class times. Divers are welcome to do more than 2 sessions per week. There are no refunds for missed classes, however, divers are encouraged to do make up classes within the term.

School Divers

Junior Squad

School Divers is a program focussing on divers who wish to compete for their school. The School Divers program focusses on the diver having three (or more) competition standard dives ready for the beginning of the school competition season. Each diver is taught individually within the class, based on their skill level and goals. School Divers are encouraged to come to 1-2 sessions per week. They are welcome to increase the sessions if they wish to. There are no refunds for missed classes, however, divers are encouraged to do make up classes within the term.

Junior Squad is a program focussing on divers who wish to compete at club, interclub and/or State competitions. The Junior Squad program focusses on preparing the diver for competition. Each diver is taught individually within the class, based on their skill level and goals. Other skills acquired are goal setting, time management, visualisation, effecting change, dealing with fear. Junior Squad Divers must attend a minimum of 2 sessions per week and are expected to compete when their skill level is high enough. They are welcome to increase the sessions if they wish to. Squads are not age based. There are no refunds for missed classes, however, divers are encouraged to do make up classes within the term.

Senior Squad

Intermediate Squad is a program focussing on divers who wish to compete at club, interclub, State and National competitions. The Intermediate Squad program takes the diver to the "next level" of expertise. Each diver is taught individually within the class, based on their skill level and goals. Other skills acquired are goal setting, time management, visualisation, effecting change, dealing with fear. Intermediate Squad Divers must attend a minimum of 3 sessions per week and are expected to compete at State and National competition. They are welcome to increase the sessions if they wish to. Squads are not age based. There are no refunds for missed classes, however, divers are encouraged to do make up classes within the term.

FOCUS 1 is a wonderful introduction to diving and is open to all beginning/new divers, whether they choose to compete or simply dive for fun. The underlying focus of FOCUS 1 is the understanding and mastering of quality basic techniques. These techniques are absolutely essential for any diver at any level, and will support the diver throughout their career. During a 2 hour weekly session, FOCUS 1 divers learn to do basic dives safely and, if they choose to, they will have the opportunity to compete in intraclub, interclub and novice competitions.

FOCUS 2 is a 6 hour weekly program and builds on the skills mastered in FOCUS 1. FOCUS 2 divers are taught more advanced techniques and dives. FOCUS 2 divers learn how to compete and have the opportunity to practice those skills in intraclub, interclub, NEPP Level 1 events and State Age Championships.

FOCUS 3 is a 10 hour weekly program that focuses on NEPP Level 2 events, State Age Championships, National Age Championships, then moving into State Junior Elite Championships and State Junior Elite Nationals.

FOCUS 4 is a 16-17 hour weekly program for divers wishing to compete at Junior Elite and Open national and international levels. This program provides positive, intense training that still allows a diver to have a life away from diving. We believe that this is absolutely essential for a diver to be a well-rounded person.
