The Coaches at Whitehordse Diving Club all share the same philosophy and positive coaching style the Club is know for. We believe that we not only teach the skills of diving, but strive to be positive role models who enhance divers' life skills. The Club's mentoring philosophy is carried through to coaching where divers are given the opportunity to learn the craft of coaching alongside their training.
Jenny Donnet is a four time Olympic diver and the first Australian woman in any sport to compete in four Olympic Games. She competed in three Commonwealth Games, taking a gold, silver and gold. Jenny now indulges her passion by coaching. Her official coaching career began at Whitehorse Diving Club in 1986. In 1987, she took her first team to the National Age Championships where they brought home a gold and a bronze. Since then, she has produced many state, national and international champions. She believes that a solid grass roots program, along with a positive attitude and coaching techniques that empower the diver, build the foundation for successful and enjoyable performance, whether that be for personal pleasure or at elite international standard.
